Sarah Faile, on her way home from having surgery, had only gotten a few blocks away from Sumter’s Tuomey Regional Medical Center when she began vomiting. When Faile’s daughter brought her back to the hospital, a nurse gave the daughter a bucket and a washcloth and told her that Faile needed to go home and sleep it off. About 30 minutes later, Faile suffered a fatal heart attack on her way home.
