MYRTLE BEACH (AP) — A Spirit Airlines flight from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, to Boston has been diverted to South Carolina because of a cracked windshield.
Myrtle Beach Assistant Airport Director Kirk Lovell says Spirit Airlines Flight 610 landed safely shortly before 11 a.m. Friday.
Lovell said no one on the plane was hurt. He did not know what caused the crack in the plane’s windshield. But he said maintenance crews were working on it early Friday afternoon.
It was unclear how soon the plane would be able to resume the flight to Boston. Lovell said some passengers may have taken other flights out of Myrtle Beach.
