Columbia firefighter charged with sexual conduct with minor

Listen to this articleCOLUMBIA (AP) — A Columbia fireman has been arrested and accused criminal sexual conduct with a minor.
Multiple media outlets reported that 53-year-old Brian A. Bruno was arrested Monday and charged with third degree criminal sexual conduct with a minor female.
Bruno is a captain with the fire department, where he has worked since 1997.
He is accused of having inappropriately touched a girl at a Columbia home more than once between June and September.
Fire Chief Aubrey Jenkins says Bruno has been placed on investigatory suspension until the charges are resolved.
It was not clear if he has an attorney.
