NORTH CHARLESTON (AP) — South Carolina’s third-largest county is opening its new sheriff’s headquarters.
The Charleston County Sheriff’s Office holds a ribbon-cutting on Friday at its new 110,000-square-foot facility in North Charleston.
Construction began in May of last year on the building, which cost about $4.7 million.
Law enforcement officials and elected leaders are speaking at the dedication ceremony.
