CHESTER (AP) — A fourth man suspected in the death of a Chester County councilman has turned himself in to police.
Local media outlets report that 18-year-old Derrick Dixon surrendered Monday morning to the Chester County Sheriff’s Office. He has been charged with accessory to a violent felony in the death of Chester councilman Odell Williams.
Williams was shot in the head Nov. 4 as he sat in his car. Three other men have been charged in the case, and police have said they think gang activity was at the center of Williams’ death.
It wasn’t clear if Dixon had an attorney. A judge on Monday denied him bond.
