Past president of US Bar Association speaks at USC

COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) — University of South Carolina trustee William Hubbard is scheduled to address graduates of the University of South Carolina.
Hubbard, who served as the president of the American Bar Association in 2014 and 2015, speaks Friday at the 3 p.m. ceremony in the Colonial Life Arena. He is a partner at the law firm of Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough in Columbia.
The commencement includes the Darla Moore School of Business, the College of Mass Communications and Information Studies, the College of Nursing, the South Carolina College of Pharmacy and the Arnold School of Public Health.
Ceremonies for the School of Law and Medical School take place earlier in the day. In all, around 5,900 degrees are being awarded over two days.
