Obituary: Cameron Littlejohn Jr.

Cameron Littlejohn Jr., who served as an assistant U.S. Attorney General before working in private practice for over 40 years, has died, according to The State. He was 67.

Mr. Littlejohn was the son of deceased South Carolina Supreme Court Chief Justice Cameron Littlejohn.

Mr. Littlejohn was born on Sept. 9, 1950 in Spartanburg. He graduated from Wofford College in 1972 before going on to graduate from The University of South Carolina School of Law.

He was married to Frances Littlejohn for 40 years.

Apart from his work as an attorney in Columbia, Mr. Littlejohn was an avid tennis player, hunter and fisherman.

He served as the president of the South Carolina Tennis Association and the Midlands Striper Club.

He is survived by his sister Inell Allen; his son Justice Littlejohn; daughter Amie Sowell; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
