Background: The Office of Disciplinary Counsel filed a petition asking the Supreme Court to place Gillens, an Orangeburg County magistrate judge, on interim suspension pursuant to the Rules for Judicial Disciplinary Enforcement. The petition was granted, and Gillens was placed on interim suspension from any and all judicial duties until further order by the court.
