Cue-McNeil v. Watt. The trial court correctly held that the minor plaintiff cannot sue for medical expenses; however, the plaintiff-mother can sue for her daughter's medical expenses. Moreover, the mother has been appointed as guardian for the minor plaintiff, and, through her guardian, the minor plaintiff can sue for other damages she has suffered. We affirm in part and vacate in part the trial court's grant of partial summary judgment for the defendant-doctor.

South Carolina Coastal Conservation League v. South Carolina Department of Health & Environmental Control. The S.C. Department of Health and Environmental Control (DHEC) admitted that the S.C. Coastal Conservation League (the league) was on the mailing list in this case involving the development of a marine container terminal. As such, DHEC should have notified the league of DHEC's decision to issue permits for the terminal. Since the league gave notice of appeal within 15 days of being notified of DHEC's decision, the league's appeal was timely.
