Officer charged with having sex with inmate

Listen to this articleCOLUMBIA (AP) — A Darlington County jail officer has been arrested after state police say he had sexual relations with a female inmate.
The State Law Enforcement Divisions says 30-year-old Steven Drake of Hartsville was arrested Friday and charged with misconduct.
Police say Drake was on duty in February when he received oral sex from a female inmate. Authorities say the incident happened at the jail and was caught on video.
SLED says Drake admitted what happened.
Drake was being held Friday in the same jail where he has worked as an officer. It wasn’t known if he had an attorney.
