Robert F. Goings Sr. believes success in personal injury practice lies at the intersection of persistence and empathy. He derives great satisfaction when he feels he has led his clients to a better place in their lives.

Before opening the Goings Law Firm, he worked at an insurance defense firm, but realized being a plaintiffs’ lawyer was a better fit.

“I knew I could level the playing field by representing those who need a voice and a strong advocate to stand up and tell their story” he says. “My inspiration for practicing personal injury law comes from using my talents and values to help people and families get the justice they deserve.”

Goings is known for possessing the skills and traits it takes to be an outstanding courtroom lawyer, including both zeal and compassion.

“Fighting for justice against corporations and insurance companies requires a tenacious resolve to win, along with and the ability to understand and share your client’s thoughts and feelings in a meaningful way,” he says.
