In re Stockholm (Lawyers Weekly No. 010-029-16, 5 pp.) (Per Curiam) S.C. S. Ct.

Holding: In several matters, respondent failed to pursue litigation for his clients as promised, falsely told his clients that their claims had been settled, and paid or planned to pay them their “settlements” from his own funds. In doing so, respondent violated Rules of Professional Conduct 1.3, 1.4, 1.5, 3.2, 8.4(d) and 8.4(e).

Respondent is disbarred. If he seeks to be readmitted to the practice of law in the future, he must complete the Legal Ethics and Practice Program Ethics School, Trust Account School, and Law Office Management School. If readmitted, he must hire an approved law office management advisor.
