Bar reminds lawyers to verify info in AIS

Before paying law license fees, South Carolina Bar members and foreign legal consultants are asked to update and verify their personal information on the bar’s website.

While the license fees aren’t due until Jan. 1, 2019, attorneys should take the opportunity now to access and update their records in the bar’s Attorney Information System, available at www.sccourts.org/ais. The bar cautions this is required by Rule 410(g) and (I)(1) of the South Carolina Appellate Court Rules.

Attorney’s username will be their bar number (without any leading zeros) and the password they have previously created.

The contact information that each attorney enters in AIS, including the required email address, will be their official contact information on record with the bar.
