Lucy Dinkins says practicing law fearlessly is the key to success for trial lawyers.

“I believe attorneys must be persistent and unafraid of taking a risk to excel,” she says. “Those two qualities often make the difference between a good outcome for a client and a great one.”

A talented pianist, Dinkins attended the University of South Carolina Honors College and graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Music degree in piano performance. She earned her J.D. from the University of Virginia Law School.

She says her greatest career rewards come when she helps a client receive compensation and move on from difficult situations. It’s one of her personal goals and the reason she became a lawyer.

I wanted the opportunity to help people who have unfairly suffered and hold those responsible accountable,” she says. “I also enjoy the challenge that comes with learning about the medical, scientific, and other unique issues involved in each case.”
