High court’s guidelines will reduce nuisance-odor award
A jury award believed to be the largest ever against a South Carolina landfill will shrink following the state Supreme Court’s recent rulings that limit temporary trespass or nuisance awards, and bar odors from being considered a cause of action in trespass claims.
