Roy T. Willey IV enjoys fighting for his clients, and that’s what drew him to concentrate on medical negligence cases, especially those involving surgical errors, birth injuries, misdiagnoses, and hospital system failures.

“I focus on representing injured patients and families who trusted a system to help them heal but were instead harmed by it,” he says. “These cases are often as emotionally devastating as they are legally challenging, and we approach each one with relentless preparation and client-first communication.”

Willey and his firm represented the family of Brittanee Drexel in a lawsuit against the man who was convicted of murdering her in 2009. The jury awarded the Drexel family $700 million in damages.

Willey says he refuses to allow people to be taken advantage of.

“My purpose is to stand between the injured and the injustice they’re facing and to make sure no one gets steamrolled just because they don’t have power or money on their side,” he says.
