Ian McVey, a shareholder at Turner Padget, is known as a powerhouse in South Carolina’s real estate and financial sectors.

Across his 20-year career, he has spent many hours in the courtroom representing clients in real estate litigation, bankruptcy and debt collection and is considered an invaluable resource and advocate.

McVey enjoys real estate because of its unique blend of transactional work and problem-solving.

“Real estate law keeps me engaged, and I enjoy the challenge of finding solutions that meet my clients’ business goals while addressing legal hurdles,” he says.

McVey earned his law degree from the University of South Carolina. He believes his ability to listen and understand his clients’ needs is key to his success as an attorney.
