In re Gray (Lawyers Weekly No. 010-017-12, 4 pp.) (Per Curiam) S.C. S. Ct. Full-text opinion.

Holding: Following respondent’s from the practice of law, he continued practicing law to clear up a matter for one client. He also filed an affidavit stating, “I had no cases at the time of my definite suspension….” When this inaccuracy was brought to his attention, respondent promptly corrected it.

We are not persuaded that respondent intentionally misrepresented the status of his law practice in the affidavit. We are persuaded that respondent’s attention to his many health problems explains his delay in not concluding his client’s claim prior to his suspension.

We find the Commission on Lawyer Conduct panel’s recommendation of a is appropriate in this case.
