Paula Burlison has been appointed senior counsel in Bowman and Brooke’s Columbia office, where she will focus her practice on product liability and personal injury defense.
Dewana Looper has been promoted to partner in Hedrick Gardner’s Columbia office.
William P. McElveen Jr. has been elected to chair the Adams and Reese law firm’s executive committee. Adams and Reese is based in Columbia, with offices in 15 markets throughout the southern U.S. and in Washington, D.C.
M. Kevin McCarrell has been elected as a partner at Smith Moore Leatherwood. He works in the firm’s Greenville office.
Edward Rawl Jr., a partner at the Columbia office of labor and employment law firm Fisher & Phillips, was recently named as a fellow to the American Bar Foundation.
